We enjoyed our special family occasion so much. The waitstaff was attentive, friendly and generous. Shalim made sure to make my mom’s 70th birthday experience one of a kind! The food is unique and tasty. Totally worth the splurge to try this NYC bucket list trip.

If you are looking for afternoon tea in New York City, look no further than the Plaza Hotel. As the most iconic hotel in New York, we had very high expectations for the Palm Court’s signature afternoon tea. Although quite crowded, upon being seated, it felt as if we were in an intimate room of 20 people thanks to the extraordinary care by our server, Shalim. He made our experience truly wonderful, with his attention to detail, fantastic recommendations, and personalized care. As someone with dietary restrictions, Shalim was incredibly accommodating. If you are coming here, I’d recommend asking to sit in Shalim’s section, as he made our experience truly special.

We had afternoon tea and it was an amazing experience. Shalim at palm court was incredible and attentive. Everyone should enjoy this girly experience and have tea in the palm court room!! Loved everything, especially the lamb sandwich and the bday dessert they brought out.

Magnificent afternoon tea experience! I have Celiac Disease and my daughter has a severe (life threatening) milk allergy. The restaurant staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Both the chef and manager came out to let us know exactly the substitute ingredients they used and everything on the beautiful tea tray was delicious.
